TCS 2250

A portable system that allows uninterrupted mobile satellite communications. It can operate from +12 to +28 VDC and works in SATCOM DAMA modes. This unit is ideal for civilian vehicle operations where a portable satellite-on-the-move (SOTM) system is needed. The TCS 2250 interfaces any multiband radio (AN/PRC 117F, AN/PSC-5D, AN/PRC 148), as well as the 30-512 MHz whip antenna, the EPLRS 420-450 MHz antenna, the Dual Mode UHF SATCOM antenna, and the 30-512 MHz / 225-400 MHz HPA/LNA. At the heart of this systems is a Xilinx Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD) that performs as a near-instantaneous spectrum analyzer/detector.
